The project brief was to use both black and red within the costumes. Set in the 1870's the project focuses on high society looking at the themes of status, wealth and ambition. The costumes are bold and elaborate to display the characters wealth and need to belong in high society. The costume is designed for daytime at a wealthy garden event.
